LEXI FLUMEK (Bolus)
Composition:
Each bolus contains:
Flumequine ………350mg
Indications:
Flumequine is rapidly absorbed through the intestines and achieves high serum level within on hour. The tissue diffusion is also excellent. Flumequin is most effective against diseases caused by gram negative and gram positive bacteria e.g.
- Neo-natal diarrhea.
- Diarrhea at weaning, caused by E. coli and salmonella typhemurium.
- post weaning digestive problem (during fattening).
- Broncho-pneumonia caused by Pasteurella (haemolitica multocida), Salmonella (dubin) and E. coli.
Dosage:
Cattle, Sheep and Goat: 1 bolus per 50kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Calves, Lambs and Baby Goats: 1 bolus per 25-50kg.
Storage:
Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period:
Do not consume meat for 3 days. |

SULPHAPRIM (Bolus)
Composition:
Each bolus contains:
Trimethoprim…….200mg
Sulphadiazine……..1000mg
Indications:
Recommended calves for treatment of bacteria scours, acute salmonellosis and bacterial pneumonia. It is effective against most gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Eliminates completely white scour diarrhea in calves.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 28 days before slaughter.
Milk: After 60 hours of last treatment.
Dosage:
1 bolus for 40kg body weight daily. Treatment should be continued for 2 days after symptoms subside. In salmonellosis and pneumonia treatment should not exceed 5 days.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and children. |
